Drafted Short Version

I am an almost 24 year-old wife, mother to my dog, and adventurer with an unrealistic amount of positivity towards life. From snowboarding in Whistler, BC to riding elephants through the jungles of Thailand, life is one big adventure and I love living it.

Five words that describe me best:
Adventurous. Passionate. Driven. Creative. Fun-loving.

Passion instills in us a desire to continually improve until we succeed. You could say I have more expectations and ambition than your average individual, and because of that I’ll never rest easy. I set goals only to not settle until those goals are achieved and succeeded by new and bigger goals.

I create art because it allows me to be myself to the fullest. I love what I do. I draw inspiration from being active and enjoying life while being able to creatively express myself.

Sitting down to write about yourself is never an easy task. Where to start? In trying to sum up the definition about myself I settled on key words. Here are the first five that came to mind: Adventurous, passionate, driven, creative and fun-loving.

An adventure is an exciting or unusual experience. It may also be a bold, usually risky undertaking, with an uncertain outcome. I strive to incorporate adventure in my every day life and strongly believe in priorities and that you choose your own path and outcome.

I take on adventure in the form of travel. Something about traveling ignites a fire inside of me that can’t and never will go out. I need it like I need air. I can say at the age of 23 I have visited 26 countries and gazed upon a majority of the states. I have accomplished this because I chose to do so. I like to think that traveling is the universe’s way of teaching you important life lessons as if you are the student in a classroom encompassing the globe. The customs and circumstances that other people live in is a slap to the face that humbles you, puts you in check, and makes you grateful for how blessed you really are.

“Adventure is out there!” A simple saying to which I set my standards in life. If not to view every experience as an adventure is only to look at things with a negative perspective. From snowboarding in Whistler, BC to riding elephants admits the jungles of Thailand, life is one big adventure and I love living it.

Passion instills in us a desire to continually improve until we succeed. You could say I have more expectations and ambition than your average individual and because of that I’ll never rest easy, never be quite satisfied. I set goals only to not settle until those goals are achieved and succeeded by new and bigger goals.

I started in grade school with academic achievement and grew till those goals translated into my main hobbies of snowboarding and wake boarding. In high school I enrolled in Cosmetology school at the age of 16 and graduated from high school with a full college scholarship. By 19 I was a licensed Cosmetologist, attending college full time, and starting my own graphic design LLC. These past two years I achieved a personal goal of competing in 5 half-marathons and am now looking forward to the Xterra triathlon this September. I made/am making all of these goals happen because I have the passion and drive to make them happen.

I look to the future bright-eyed and willing to grow, improve and go on competing with the younger version of myself. I desire to apply creativeness to every situation. I find myself doing just that in my home and in my work and my overall character. I love home decor and figuring out creative solutions to make my surroundings better. I love style and fashion. As a licensed cosmetologist I still work with clients while filling my time with graphic design. I find it allows me to be creative in an entirely different way while still adding to my experience.

I have always had the outlook that if you want it bad enough you just have to figure out what it’s going to take to get it. I figured out that I wanted the dashing young man that is carver to be my husband. We have now been married for a year and I can honestly say I found my match. He is as crazy about mtn. biking, running, traveling, hiking, skiing, and adventures as I am!

We now live in Ogden, Utah with a playground of mountains in the backyard we love to take on daily with our 2 year old pup, Matix. We work hard, and always play harder.
